Let's get to know each other:

Heyyyy!! Im Shelby, the girly behind the camera.  I created Shelby Rae Photography in 2018 and I have been documenting weddings since 2022. My focus before wedding photography was graduation pictures, family pictures, and engagements- but once I did my first wedding, I was SOLD. I freaking love love.  I will probably cry during your vows and it is likely that I cry during the father/ daughter dance. Marriage is soooooo special to me and being a part of your day truly means the world to me. I don't just photograph the day for you- I live in the moment with you- because I truly love my job. If I could live off doing weddings for free- I would, It isn't about the money for me, it is about the moments.

Okay here is some more:

I married my high school sweet heart, he joined the navy and we travel the world together with our two golden retrievers.  After being married 8 years, we welcomed our first sweet little man. Having him gave me a huge heart for newborn & maternity photography. I saw first hand how fast they change and I personally felt the heart tugs of just wanting to capture every moment. This unintentionally caused a shift in my company to newborn + maternity photography. And I don't mind it one bit.

I am pretty outgoing, but I definitely have a social limit. I will party with you on Saturday and then stay home all day Sunday... and probably order DoorDash.
